With a foundation in Civil Engineering from Howard University, she brings analytical precision to creative innovation, building comprehensive content ecosystems for brands and organizations across Media, Entertainment, and Publishing industries.

Since 2019, Mellany has served as Co-Director of Operations for the

Brooklyn Caribbean Literary Festival (BCLF), where she has helped to grow the annual celebration into a nationally recognized cultural destination reaching 15,000+ participants worldwide. This role exemplifies her ability to merge cultural authenticity with entrepreneurial vision.

As a Managing Editor and digital strategist since 2017, Mellany curates and executes multi-platform narratives that resonate with target audiences while driving measurable engagement. Her technical expertise encompasses website development, page layout deisgn, CRM integration, and digital Ads infrastructure implementation, complemented by her editorial mastery in both print and digital storytelling.

In 2016, following the unexpected loss of her mother, Mellany wrote and published her memoir, Dancing At The Crossroad - A Grief Recovery Journal. This deeply personal work transformed her pain into purpose, offering readers an intimate roadmap through loss while catalyzing her own healing journey.
