Hi, I’m Mell

Journalist, Media Entrepreneur and Storytelling Strategist

Mell is a Media Entrepreneur and Storytelling Strategist who fuses digital and print storytelling with strategic project curation. As a Frrelance Journalist with a Howard University Civil Engineering background, she builds comprehensive content ecosystems, from page layout design to editorial strategy. She transforms creative visions into executed projects for brands across Media, Film/TV, and Publishing.

In 2016, following the unexpected loss of her mother, she wrote and published her memoir, Dancing At The Crossroad - A Grief Recovery Journal. This deeply personal work transformed her pain into purpose, offering readers an intimate roadmap through loss while catalyzing her own healing journey.

The creative process of translating grief into narrative became a profound act of recovery, solidifying Mellany's belief in storytelling as a tool for transformation and resilience, a philosophy that now informs all of her editorial and creative work.
